TATCHA Luminous Skin Care

I am in love......

I know, I have told you all how much I love Tatcha in the past, but I am even more in love now then I was before.  

I recently tried out a new line of products that Tatcha has, it is their Luminous line and it is amazing.  There are three items in this new line.

1. Luminous Deep Hydration Lifting Mask (4 mask set/ 20ml serem PER mask $95.00)
2. Luminous Dewy Skin Mist (40ml / 1.35 fl oz $48.00)
3. Tatcha Limited Editon Kiyomizu Folding Fan ($175.00)

The Deep Hydration Lifting Mask-

I was actually pretty hesitant about using this mask, I have tried masks in the past and I don't really care for them.  Masks usually leave a sticky reside on your face after you take it off and it just feels gross.  I finally decided that I would try this mask last night, I pulled it out of the AMAZING package, seriously Tatcha's packaging is so pretty I almost don't want to open it because its so pretty but then I remember the product inside is even more amazing!!

The Mask came in a package that looks like it is wood, it is so pretty.  Once you open that there is the mask package inside,  it is in Tatcha's signature coloring with the purple fading into white, I had one mask in my package to try.

The Mask packaging has the very detailed instructions on the back, it is super simple to use.  You start with a clean, dry face.  Unfold the mask (it is folded up inside the package).  This mask has a mesh backing on each side of the mask, I found that it helped out a lot and so that I was able to actually grab the mask without it slipping everywhere, it also made it a lot easier to apply the mask onto my face.  So anyway, you remove one of the mesh backings and place the mask gel-side down on your face, adjust it around your eyes, nose and mouth.  Once it is in place where you want it remove the additional mesh that is now on the front of the mask.  

You leave the mask on for 15 minutes.  I noticed with this mask that it didn't slip at all, it stayed in place the whole time and it is really light which is a huge surprise because 20 ml of serum is A LOT!!!  

I know, what a beautiful picture!  I loved that this mask want huge over any parts like my nose, eyes or mouth.  It fit really good.  

When I took it off, there was a little bit of extra serum on my face that I rubbed in.  There wasn't a ton of excess goo that I had to wash off.  It was perfect!  My face felt soooooo smooth and soft!  

So now for some more info about the mask.  It is a red algae blend with Tatcha's HADASEI-3™Bioactive Complex.  It is a coconut derived biocellulose mask that was originally made to speed healing for burn victims!!!  This mask forms on occlusive layer on the skin that enables 53% deeper penetration vs. paper mask!  (The mask also feels a billion times better vs those paper masks!) 

The mask is formulated WITHOUT: Mineral Oil, Synthetic Fragrances ( I couldn't smell anything!), Sulfate Detergents, Parabens, PEGs, PPGs, Urea, DEA, TEA or Phthalates.

My face feels so soft today and I know that I will be buying these mask soon!  If you love masks then I KNOW that you will love these.

Luminous Dewy Skin Mist-

I have never used a spray moisturizer before so I was really excited to try this out.  I LOVE Tatcha but I was pretty skeptical that a spray could moisturize my face. I was wrong.

I love this stuff.  I keep it on the counter next to my makeup brushes because I can't live without it and it is so easy to use!!!  Shake the bottle, close your eyes and spray!  I usually spray twice and then rub it in, but you don't even need to rub it in.  The spray is so amazing, it spreads evenly across your face and it feel so good!!  I have sprayed it on before I put my makeup on, after I put my makeup on and after I have washed my face.  Never once has my face felt dry!!!  

I am in love with all of Tatcha's packaging with the wood look and then the bottles with the purple fading into the white.   This bottle is glass and is so pretty.  

I love that I can take this with me and use it anytime.

There is also a Limited Edition Kiyomizu Folding Fan $175.  I did not recieve one of these but they look beautiful.  It is a handcrafted fan that was designed by Tatcha and made by an artisan shop in Kyoto.  Each fan is one of a kind!!!

TATCHA Skincare GIVEAWAY!!!!!

I am so excited for this post today!

I was recently able to a new line of products that I had just recently hear about, TATACHA Skin care line.  They sent me a sampler set which included 6 of their beauty essentials and one pack of their blotting beauty papers.  As soon as I received the box (which was only like 2 days later, if that) I started looking and reading all about all the products, I was like a kid on Christmas!!

If you haven't heard of TATCHA it is a beauty line I am excited to let you in on the best secret ever!  Have you ever noticed how amazing Japan's geishas skin looks?  It is so smooth looking, beautiful and looks like porcelain soft skin.  Well, TATCHA noticed this as well and actually discovered the geishas 200 year old secrets from the oldest book written in Japan, it detailed the ingredients, extraction systems and rituals that were used.  

The first item is PURE, One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

This is step 1 in the TATCHA beauty ritual.  This stuff is amazing, seriously!  I have never used a cleanser/makeup remover like this before.  You start with this step if you need to remove your makeup or if you have very dry skin.  You use 1-2 pumps and then you massage it onto your DRY face, then just rinse away with warm water.  

I was absolutely amazed at how fast and easy it took my makeup off.  I put it on my eyeshadow and it seriously came off onto my hand, it was crazy!  The camellia and rice bran oils condition your skin, so it feels so soft.  It doesn't feel tight after a lot of makeup removers make your skin feel.  It also does not contain mineral oil so you're not left with a oily feeling. 

I loved this and I will for sure be buying it again

The second step in the TATCHA beauty ritual is POLISHED, Rice Enzyme Powders

There are three different types to select from.  There is a gentle, classic and deep.  This is a daily exfoliant that doubles as a cleanser if you are not wearing makeup, it can be used morning and night.  I only used it once a day, usually at night but I did try it in the morning before applying makeup.  

To use this, use 1 teaspoon worth and put it into wet hands and rub your hands together to make a paste/foam.  You need to have your face wet before applying, massage onto your face for 10 seconds - 1 minute depending on how deep of an exfoliant that you need or want.  I usually left it on for about 30 seconds.  Then rinse with warm water.  

This is a water-activated enzyme powder of rice branm papaya + HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex.

When I have used other exfoliants or cleaners, my face usually turns really red.  My face is pretty sensitive.  I had ZERO irritation with the rice enzyme powders but they really do work so good.  I was amazed that right after I rinsed, I could not see any of my pores!  I would recommend this to anyone and I love that there are 3 different levels to choose from.

I will definitely be buying this.  My skin has never looked better.  I had a pimple, after applying this it was gone the next morning.

The RADIANT, Deep Brightening Serum Is the 3rd step in the TATCHA beauty ritual.

This is a hydrating and brightening serum that can be used morning and evenings.  You don't have to use much of this at all, I just have used one small pump and that has been more than enough.  My face feels so moisturized and smooth.  This serum helps to prevent future age spots and clarifying existing age spots.  Existing age spots will begin to lighten in 4-8 weeks of use.  

This serum is so amazing.  I have one age spot, its right by right eyebrow, I have had it for a few years and have tried lots of different products on it but nothing has helped.  After using this for ONE WEEK it has already lightened up so much!!!  I also have this spot on my forehead that is from getting sunburnt when I was younger.  I got burnt there 4 times at least in a row so now I have a spot there that is probably 2 inches long and its just a lot darker than the rest of my forehead.  After using this, it is almost the same color as the rest of my forehead.  It says that you need to use this 4-6 weeks to see results but I have gotten amazing results in 1 week, I cant wait to see my skin tone get even more even and look better.

I actually joked with my husband when I saw the price of this before I tried it, I said "Would you kill me if I spent $150 on a face serum?"  He told me no, not if I liked it.  I said that I would NEVER DO THAT!  Now I am taking my words back.  I can not believe how much better my face looks.  I think that this full size bottle would last so long because a little really does go a long way.  If you have age spots or even red spots from acne or pimples that bother you, then I would highly recommend this even though it has a huge price tag.

The last step in the TATCHA beauty ritual is SUPPLE, Rich Silk Cream

This is an anti-aging cream that moisturizes your skin.  To use, massage a pearl sized amount into your skin day and night.  This cream absorbs into your skin quickly.  

I am addicted to this moisturizer.  I could not stop touching my face, it was so soft and smooth!  I even made my husband keep feeling my face, he said it was so much softer.  You know those lotions that claim to make your skin as soft as a baby butt?  Well this one actually makes your skin that soft!  It's amazing!  You can also use this as a natural primer if you want to apply makeup afterwards.  I know that a lot of woman are afraid to use a moisturizer in the morning because it makes your face feel oily when you apply your foundation, but I found that this helped my makeup go on super smooth.  But I have heard that if you have oily skin it doesn't work that great as a primer.

I know another $150 product, but with TATCHA you honestly get what you pay for.  These products last so long because you don't have to use much of the product every day.  This moisturizer doesn't contain heavy oils that are going to make your skin feel heavy, it is a very lightweight cream that does what it should do!

The last item that I received is the PETAL FRESH, Original Aburatorigami blotting papers.

I don't have oily skin, but there were days when I was hot outside and felt like I should try these out.  I was absolutely amazed the oil that it pulled from my face and didn't disturb my makeup at all!  These papers are so pretty too!  hey actually contain gold flake and you can see it throughout the papers!!!

I love that the products don't contain mineral oil.  I love the packaging and the customer service is honestly the best that I have EVER dealt with.  They are amazing and I see this company just getting better and better.
