Julep October 2012 Box

For those of you that love nail polish or even just like nail polish, you are going to love this!!  My October Julep box came in the mail yesterday, I love how fast I get my Julep boxes!

I love Juleps presentation, this box was halloween themed since it is October.  I ordered the "It Girl" box this month.

Okay and now for the products. 

This is how the polish came wrapped this month.  This is a cute black paper bag that you would see people handing treats out in for Halloween.  How cute!!

These are the three colors that I received.  The dark red wine color is called Caroline.  The color in the middle is a black with silver sparkles and it is called Leslie.  The third color is a metallic crackle polish called Glenda.  

I love all three of these colors and I can't wait to try them out, how fun are they!!!!!

As another added surprise this month I received 2 glitter pots in my box!  There is an orange and a black.  

Another thing that I love about Julep is that if you don't know how to use items like these that they send you, they give you a link to find out how to use them!!!

I am super happy with my box and I can't wait to put these on my nails!!!

Julep Maven Nail Polish Claire

As promised, here is a picture of what the Julep nail polish in the color Claire looks like.

This is with just one coat! I can't believe how easy it went on, how fast it dried and how rich the color is. I think it is such a pretty color!!

I was pretty scared when I started putting it on because of how rich the color is. A lot of nail polishes look really great in the bottle but once you put them on, the color is so weak! Not this, NOT AT ALL!!!

Yay, I'm excited to try all my other colors!!

The directions on the bottle say: Apply 2 coats nail color over base coat, follow with top coat for durability and shine.

Like I said, this was only one coat and I didn't apply a base coat. Maybe I will try that next time.

I did not mention this in my post about Julep before.  Julep does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene or DBP.  The brush is a flat brush with micro-frayed brush hairs.

Julep August 2012- My First

I just received my first Julep box and I am in love! Not only is it packaged extremely well but it also comes in an adorable tote bag! I got 3 polishes and this bag all for only ONE PENNY!!!  These are normally $14 each!

This is what both of the sides of the tote bag look like.  So cute!!!!

 The nail polishes are wrapped in different layers of bubble wrap.
